Fashion Friday #20 + Double Braid Hair Tutorial

Last week on our photo shoot adventure together, Mandy from A Sorta Fairytale, snapped these wonderful photos!  And because I can, I'm using them for Fashion Friday (:  I really do love this shirt...in fact I'm wearing it again as I type.  Embarrassing? Maybe a little bit.

This week, I thought I'd show you how to do a little braid action. I explain it all in the video, so ready.set.go. I always get nervous with videos...but oh well! (:

    No shame in wearing a shirt you love!
    I just posted a dress I adore, and I am actually wearing the exact same outfit as I type as well hehe.
    Weekend plans include picking C up from the airport and planning our upcoming trip to Seattle and the West Coast in general (April).
    Any tips you have will be great :o)

    i wish you lived close to me so you could do my hair like that every day...I am so bad at those type of braids...i used to my make my brothers gf do it for me all the time.

    and i may or may not wear the same outfit for days in a row..dayS.

    I think that outfit was my favorite one of the day! :) And that braid tutorial was awesome, I love that there is 2 braids. I will probably try it, but truth be told - I am not good at braiding my own hair! Ha ha. (p.s. still jealous of your thick hair!)

    I almost attempted a dress without tights but switched to jeans at the last minute. I'm always cold.

    I love that shirt, and the boots. Wear them everyday, who cares! Everyone is too busy worrying about themselves to notice.

    THIS IS SO CUTE!!! I love it. I do french braids all the time, I just love them. I used to be our team's "official hair-braider" for softball. LOL...OK, I was just the team's fashion and beauty guru, in general. ;) I always did my hair all cute in braids and whatnot...sometimes it didn't last under the ridiculous batting helmet, but I sure tried to make that sport glam....Ha!

    I have been braiding a lot lately. Currently, my favorite french braid is one that starts in the back on the right side and I braid it across the back of my head so it ends in a loose side braid on the left side...confusing, I know. But it's cute!! Also, funny, I actually find it much easier to french braid my own hair rather than others...which most people find crazy. They don't get how I do it...I used to even braid on the rickety bus with no mirror or anything and the whole bus, the whole varsity softball and baseball teams would be mesmerized by this ability. LOL... How about you?

    I LOVE the double braids!! Sometimes I do the one braid but the double is so much cuter! Definitely going to have to give this a try :) So glad I found your blog!!
