A House as Big as...Texas!

As I was surfing our friend, the Internet, for new homes and DIY ideas, I found this beauty over at Southern Living, one of my fave design magazines!

Are you sitting down? Because this house is going to blow you away. They say everything in Texas is bigger...we'll this house proves that statement to be true!

Let's start the tour:

How genius that this staircase is made from all different materials?! It's so intriguing!

Dining Room

Reading Room

Family Room

The TV is suspended and hung in front of a curtain panel.  I love how different this is from the everyday media console table against a wall.

Kitchen

Subway tile is carried down on the base cabinetry as well!

Master Bath

Master Bedroom

Patio

Boat House...wowwww. That's all.

Backyard

I'd say this house would due (:
Favorite part? I love how they incorporated so many different textures, making it feel so comfortably luxurious. That carmel colored stone seriously has my heart.

*All images are from Southern Living. Want to see more of the home? Go here!

Let's meet here for a mini vacay!

  26. Hello. I found you through The Simplified Bee. I'm in the Bay Area too and am going to try to make it to the Decorate signing -- my first time ever at an event like this. Anyway, hope to meet you there!

Oh, at that Southern Living kitchen just kills me. I'm really hoping they do some more shots of it soon because I want to see if from all angles!

  27. Holy Moses! I would get lost in there, so I would probably park it on the outdoor veranda for a good book to read in the afternoons. Breathtaking!

  28. I should have probably pulled some of these for my rustic decor piece over on CG! Love it. PS. I can't believe they copied my boat house exactly? I mean come on people, show some respect....
