Look Book: Brown Dress & Diagonal Braid Up-Do

 

Brown Dress: Meadow
Leggings: Target
Boots: Steve Madden

This past weekend has been a whirlwind. Spending time with my family playing Apples to Apples {always a good laugh!}, stuffing our faces with food on Thanksgiving, going to our favorite beach {Carmel}, and decking the house for Christmas.  In between it all we had some time to go down to the tracks in front of our house to snap these photos. I love this outfit because it's easy and comfy!

The side french braid up-do is really easy, too, if you know how to french braid! This is my go-to hair style when I wake up late (: Here's how you do it:
Start the braid on one side of your head and continue adding hair to the braid in a diagonal fashion.  Finish the braid until you're out of hair and twist the remaining braided ponytail into a bun. Secure with an elastic and a few bobby pins. 
Viola!

    Cute outfit and hairstyle. I have curly hair so braiding and buns is my go to almost every day. I haven't tried this look yet, but I have done the diagonal braid all the way its so quick (kind of) and it up and out of my face. Take care!!
