Dear ______, It's Friday!


Dear Mint-Colored Jeans, me wearing you is equal to me eating funfetti cupcakes, which means I like you thiiissssssss much. Michigan won't know what hit 'em when I sport you.  Dear Michigan, I'm on your soil today spending the weekend with my man, and I'm real happy about that. I've heard you're beautiful and I'm excited to see everything you have to offer. Just be sure your weather acts accordingly. You know this girl isn't a fan of rain! Dear Running Shoes, I've taken you for a spin 3 times last week and am feeling good about it. Thanks for keeping my feet comfy.  Dear Brother, you graduate high school in 4 weeks. I remember when we'd build forts in the family room together.  Stop growing up, okay?  Dear Rhiannon, thank you for letting me stay in your beautiful home here in MI. You are one sweet friend. Dear HGTV, I know my design teachers tell us you are not real life design, but I can't help but watch you. Dear Boyfriend, we get to hold hands for 4 days in a row. This is big. Thank you for showing me around your town and being so wonderful.  Dear 2,250 Miles, you are the number of miles that separate Boyfriend and I. You sort of make me sad, but the distance is what makes us grow closer together. Dear Hope, sometimes I wish I could sneak you in my suitcase and take you back to school. You're that cute.


Dear Funfetti Cupcakes, it's been far too long. I plan to bake you soon. While wearing my mint jeans. What an epic day that will be :)

    I love the mint jeans! I need to find some of those.. alas, they never seem to be long enough for me. poo fiddle dee dee. Anyway, have a wonderful time with your boy, and I agree.. funfetti cupcakes are the best: with or without frosting even for me! ;)

    I did long distance for over a year (to England... womp womp) it was miserable at times and at other times, it was so romantic and exciting. We would pick common TV shows & watch them together via Skype (Geeky - yes... fun - yes) Treasure the moments when butterflies build up becuase you know you're about to see him!! I love looking back at those moments. We're now successfully living together in the US!!

    Loved your letters! I have a pair of turquoise jeans that I just love, and mint would be right at home in my wardrobe too, if I could find them! Where, pray tell, did you stumble upon those goodies? Oh and cupcakes, of any flavor, but especially funfetti, are ah-mazing. True story.

    I am afraid you are going to get seattle like weather today! BOOOO. I hope you can swing another quick trip to michigan late summer/early fall when we are here again and then we can take you all up to TC, go wine tasting and go out on the lake and eat fresh cherries and have a great time!
