Fall is in full swing around here {finally!} I've been having a ball adding in some more Autumn decor around the house. Today I'm showing you a little vignette in our family room, as well as our buffet in the living room. If you missed our Fall Mantel, you can find it here!
First up is the family room console table. We added some cute pumpkins, a harvest knick knack for height and my sweet friend Helen sent me this lovely cross from Mary and Martha. I've been feeling like the space above the console table needed a little something, and it turns out this cross is exactly what it needed! It adds height, texture, and of course has a special meaning. I love what it reads on the back:
"Without beginning of days or end of life, like the Son of God...The lines on this cross have no beginning or end and are symbolic of the eternal nature of our Savior. He has expressed the greatness of His love for us by laying down His own life that we may live forever."
Such a beautiful reminder. I also adore the canvas of my parents and our old golden retriever. It makes us smile every day :)
Next up is the buffet in the living room. This chest of drawers is one of my favorite pieces in our home. The second drawer may not even open, but it's special because it was my great grandmothers. I hope to beg my parents to let me have it for my future home one day :)
The buffet has a simple display of pretty glasses with a gold rim, a stack of books with a vase of gold pumpkins for height, and a mercury glass pumpkin. Flowers are always my finishing touch on any vignette. I'm sure you've caught onto that by now! I'm loving the warm, metallic theme we've got going on.
I think the last thing we need for our house to really usher in the season is this yummy candle.
What touches have you added to your home for Fall?
xoxo
