Life Lately

Hi there! Long time no talk...on my end at least ;) I'm finally back to blogging after taking a week off for vacation. Although I love my little blog so much, it's really nice to take time away and focus on what matters most: family, friends, beautiful creation, good food, and building relationships.

Last week my boyfriend and I flew to California to visit my family. I'm still here for another week or so, but he sadly had to fly back to MI for work. While he was here, my mom and I took him to one of our favorite places in all the land; Carmel. I've written about it at least a dozen times here on my blog over the years. It's the quaintest little beach town, filled with adorable shops, art galleries, a gorgeous beach with white sand, lots of places to explore, and amazing restaurants. They also have the best farmers market on Thursdays! I wrote about it here

We went to point Lobos and explored the tide pools and cool rock formations. The beauty is unreal! I couldn't help but think how good God is for giving us scenes in nature like this. We had a great time!

We also relaxed by the ocean for a while. Glorious! I could live on the beach :) We even saw dolphins! Can you see them?!

Have you ever been to Carmel-by-the-Sea? Hope you've had a wonderful past week and weekend!

  1. I have never been, but I really want to! We were super close one year, my husband and I went down to Santa Cruz and Marina, and I wanted to drive down to Carmel but we didn't have time :( so it's definitely on my list! Beautiful pictures :) and I just love the color of that water!
