Since you have incandescent bulbs, that will shadow the space more yellow or at least warmer tones, so if you want a true greige, you're going to want to go with a gray that leans to the blue / green side so that the yellow shadow the lights will cast won't make the space look TOO yellow. Gray Owl, Stonington Gray, Classic Gray (very light neutral), Collingwood, Moonshine, Chelsea Gray (darker), Sterling, Wickham Gray. Hope this helps!Michaelahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05279263060923898833noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7817707935402441332.post-3841712537505630922018-03-16T14:47:14.528-04:002018-03-16T14:47:14.528-04:00Hi Michaela, I have a question : we are painting o...Hi Michaela, I have a question : we are painting our basement. We have some natural light downstairs (but not a lot) and incandescent bulbs. I'm trying to pick a light "greige" color that won't look yellow! Any suggestions? Hopefully the info about the sheens will help you decide on sheen for the rest of the walls :)Michaelahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05279263060923898833noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7817707935402441332.post-53052520808758523822018-03-13T13:18:52.490-04:002018-03-13T13:18:52.490-04:00This is perfect timing and very helpful! I don’t even know where to start in the color area or what sheen to use. Maybe there’s a basic ceiling color that’s pretty neutral?

Thanks!jodicarlesshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04517310671776073680noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7817707935402441332.post-65843158319312862032018-03-13T11:21:40.684-04:002018-03-13T11:21:40.684-04:00I love posts like this!
