Fashion Friday #24

Happy Friday! Surprisingly, this week flew by for me.  It was my last full week of classes and finals are next week. If you pray, send a few up for me (:

Anyways. Let's get down to business, shall we?
Here's what I'm wearing today:

It was definitely a "take the pictures myself day", because I couldn't force find anyone to do it!
I also took the pictures in Meadow because, well, it's my favorite store and the clothes are way too cute. I also go there once a week to write their blog.  I need more self control when I enter <-- My wallet just told me to say that.

Dress: Meadow Boutique
Boots: Nine West Outlet

I'm in the process of mastering a few hairstyles in order to do videos and share them with you!  If you have any styles you'd like to know how to do, please ask and I will give them a whirl (:

This week I'm also loving this purplish-gray OPI nail polish. I would tell you the name of the color, but the sticker came off the bottle!

What's your favorite color right now?

I can't wait to share my recipe for these amazingly delicious and easy homemade-by-scratch-cinnamon-sugar-cupcakes on the weekend! Start drooling now...

Have a wonderful weekend!

PS. Let's be friends on Facebook. I've now become a triple threat: facebook page, twitter and blog. Join me!

  7. Super cute dress!

And at the risk of sounding like a complete nail polish nerd, your polish is most likely Parlez-vous OPI? from the France collection. There's a photo of it somewhere on my blog, but there's probably tons on flickr to compare. And I own it too, so it's not like I'm a crazy nail polish person. :P

I am currently wearing Jade is the New Black by OPI :)

  12. Super cute! You have beautiful long hair. When my hair is long it's not so beautiful. I keep it chin to shoulder length. Maybe a guest blogger with short hair ideas would be fun. :)

  15. I would love a messy, low bun for super thick hair people like you an me! I can never get it right. I tried to use Spin Pins, but I'm convinced those things are for people with a normal thickness of hair.

  24. Girl you crack me up: "my wallet just told me to say that"! haha Love it.

I wish I had a good polish color to recommend, but I am in desperate need of a fun new color myself. I really like that OPI purple-gray color you have. There's this fun OPI polish from the Katy Perry line that I really want to try... it's black, and it's called 'shatter'. It apparently goes over another color and cracks, revealing the color you have underneath.

Hope you have a great weekend and that you kick butt in your finals. (:

  29. I just had the best time reading about you. We have sooo much in common. Ok. I'm a few years older, married and have 3 young kids...haha..but other than that, we're twins.

    Um....except I don't look like Denise Richards. Shucks. ;)

I've been rearranging furniture in my bedroom since I was a little girl. (Don't know how I moved it, but I did!) I was a Barbie-playing, drama girl who also wanted to be a hairdresser...then a ballerina...then...you name it. (And for those Barbies? I made houses...and gave them wallpaper using wrapping paper and tables made out of Jello boxes.)

I was 19 when I finished college (as in got my BA). I didn't have a real clue as to what I "officially" wanted to be or do. Man, if I could go back to that time, it would've been interior design.

These days, I decorate my house for fun, but for business, I design and make everything in my boutique. I'm also adding Boutique Lifestyle Photography. I've seriously considered getting my interior design degree, though. Ugh. I just have so much going on.

I've posted a bunch of what I've done on my blog...appropriately titled: My Interior Designs. Ha!

Warning - I tend to leave long comments, but I promise they won't typically be THIS long...hopefully. ;)

    P.S. Love your blog. :)
