{How To} Styling My Little White Bookcase

One of the great curses of being a designer {well, almost!} is not being able to let something sit. When I get bored, normally it's my bookcases that get rearranged first.  At home in California I have the best built in bookshelves, but here in Seattle I just have one small bookcase- which I love, as it was my great grandma's. I sanded and painted it white when I redid my room back in October. Although it's small, I still manage to get lots of things I love, and of course some books, on the little white bookcase.
Today I'm sharing the method to my styling madness. Here it goes!

There ya have it. I think it'll stay this way for at least a few weeks :)
What are your favorite styling tricks?

Have a lovely Monday!

  21. Just stumbled across your blog tonight, and I have to tell you I'm in love! You have so much great content, so many pretty things to look at, and I've already gotten some ideas for new projects. I love this particular how to, because I have several bookcases and I only ever go 'traditional' and put books in them, but I'm going to have to mix it up and try something like this. New follower. :-)
