Bloom Bash Florida: Day One

(As most of you know, I'm the co-founder of The Bloom Workshop. Today I'm recapping our beautiful workshop back in May!)

When this is your venue for a workshop, you know it's going to be really good! Back in May we had the chance to spend two full days with some of the kindest, most creatively talented women in Florida for Bloom Bash. It was so fun and I think we all left inspired!

Our events always start with a strolling breakfast and time to mingle, then we kick things off by introducing ourselves so we all feel like family. Next, we dive in to our teaching sessions! First up is the Why's and How's of Blogging. We break for a delicious lunch, then had our teaching sessions on Photography (how to shoot in manual!) and Styling (how to pretty up your work with some basic principals!). Next we enjoyed a calligraphy class taught by Annie of Wildfield Paper Co., where all the girls tried their hand at pointed pen calligraphy. These creative, hands-on sessions are so important to us to offer, because they get you out of your regular routine, and hopefully spark your creative juices in a new way! We end each day with a Q&A panel, where we invite talented artists and bloggers to answer all of your burning questions.

Here's a peek at the day:
