When it comes to clothing, shoes and handbags, I tend to go for classic, effortless and practical. That's why, for Christmas, I'll be asking for a few of the above favorites. Namely, a new pair of blue jeans {I think my jeans are shrinking...cough cough...} and that pair of brown booties. I'm such a dress-lover, so few warmer dresses are always fun for the season, too! I'm a big believer in buying less pieces of clothing that are of good quality, so you can mix and match great pieces and really be sure they last for a long time. Investing in a few good pairs of jeans and sweaters is my best advice! Then you can buy cheaper tops, accessories and fun, trendy items to sprinkle in some color and pattern for the seasons.
What clothing is on your Christmas list?!

Hi! I hope your weekend was lovely. Mine was spent enjoying many wedding festivities for my cousin. The wedding was Sunday and it was stunning! Hopefully I can share pictures sometime soon, but for now you can see some details on instagram (@michaelanoelle). What did you do this weekend?
Last time I did this series I had so much fun putting it together, I thought I'd do another edition. This week I pulled some pretty patterns for your home. A fun floral pillow, gorgeous flowered wallpaper and bold geometric rug will definitely brighten your place up for Spring!
I'm not sure about you, but I've been dying to get into some dresses lately and can't wait to add another maxi to my closet this summer. I'm going to try my best to stay away from stripes and go for something floral. No promises ;) This tote bag is amazing, too. I've seen it in person and I'm probably going to bite the bullet and make the purchase soon because this girl's in need of a big, sturdy school bag.
My favorite section of this round up are the things for your friends, because one of my New Years goals was to put together little packages of things for a friend once a month. This "You Are a Peach" notecard might be the most precious thing I've seen in a while, the pink dish towel is the perfect hostess gift, and no friend of mine would say no to some Kate Spade earrings!
What's your favorite thing above? And have you discovered any good finds recently?!
Happy Monday!

A funny thing happened. I was putting together this inspiration board of things for your home, your closet and gifts for friends, and then I looked up and realized, hey Michaela, everything is peach and lavender. I swear I didn't plan it, but I adore that it turned out this way.
The bedding is subtle and feminine, just the way I like it. I'm also loving our new floor lamp and brightly hued rug from Lulu & Georgia. Girl cave anyone?! The rug would even be adorable in a playroom.
I've got Spring on my mind {probably because the temperature here in LA is sinfully warm for this time of year.} I can't wait to add some pretty floral pieces to my closet for the season, but also, no surprise here, some more stripes. I think it's my favorite pattern of all time. That plain peach day dress is quite cute, too. Decisions, decisions.
One of my New Years goals was to send notes and packages to friends just because. I think the above matches, lip gloss and notecards would do just the trick, don't you?!
What are you loving for your home, closet and for your friends as of lately?! Fill me in. I'm in the shopping mood. Uh oh!
Happy Tuesday!
xoxo
