To the Snow We Go

The picture above is my grandparent's be-a-u-tiful home up in the mountains. My grandma, who's an interior designer, designed it herself and we love being able to visit!  Now you know where I get my designer genes :)

It snowed buckets while we were up there, making this my first white Christmas in years! My family enjoyed going outside and playing in the white fluff, watching Hope explore and eat the snow, and took in all the gorgeous scenery. My, my, my...a winter wonderland it sure was!

If you think we're a bit obsessed with out pup, you'd be correct :) How couldn't we be?! Did you have a white Christmas this year?

Have the best weekend! Don't forget to think up some New Years resolutions for 2013! I'll be sharing mine next week. If you want to peek at our Christmas Day, see the video in my post from yesterday.

Christmas Day Recap

Christmas has come and gone and our family is still recovering! Our family headed up to the Tahoe mountains to spend Christmas with my dad's parents, who we haven't had Christmas with in years.  We had the best day relaxing, opening gifts, spending time together, laughing, eating {way too much!}, playing in the snow, and celebrating Jesus' birth.  Here are just a few pictures of our day and my grandma's beautiful Christmas decor, cooking and home. Below you'll find a video of Christmas at our house as well.

Hope loved all the snow. We all had so much fun watching her run through it and mostly eat it :) Little balls of snow would stick to her fur, which was also pretty funny. I'll be showing more snow pictures tomorrow.

Above is the yummiest cocktail you'll ever try. Recipe: muddled raspberries, blackberries, blueberries, lemon and vodka. Shake well and pour into glass over crushed ice. Top off with sparkling lemonade.

If you'd like to see a little more of our Christmas Day, you can watch this video I put together. This is the first time in years {probably close to 12!} that we've taken video of our Christmas festivities, so I'm so excited about having this for years to come. My family is so special to me, so having this put a smile on all of our faces!

How were your Christmases?! Hope your week has been wonderful. Tell me what you got in your stockings :)
Happy Thursday!
