I know within the next two weeks in blogland, we're going to see some great table scape, delicious Thanksgiving recipes, and hear about wonderful times with family! On my blog, I'm going to be talking about Grace. We're so blessed, and often times we forget how blessed we really are. Thanksgiving is the perfect time to stop and think about what we're thankful for, in what ways we've been blessed and the idea of grace. I'll write about what Grace is, what it looks like in fashion and interiors, and instances in my life when I've seemed to experience it. I even have some very special bloggers who are doing guest posts on what it means to them! You don't want to miss it!
That brings me to what I'm thankful for. Today I'm thankful for the little things. Namely, cute shoes, scoring some dresses at the Nordstrom sale, the lavender lotion I use 10 times a day, my cozy bed, Trader Joe's sparkling pink lemonade, a scarf to keep me warm, nail polish, baseball, cupcakes, tea, and the ego waffles I'm about to go enjoy (: These things are mildly trivial and I could clearly live without them, but I'm grateful I have them. What little things do you love?
Have a wonderful weekend! What all do you have planned? I'll be going to pick up Christmas decorations. Yes. I said it. You don't understand-- I'm only here for a week after Thanksgiving then I go home for break, so a week isn't enough time to enjoy our Christmas decor. We're just gettin' a head start. Don't judge (;
