A few weeks ago my grandma, also an interior designer, was here visiting us, so she took me on a visit to the San Francisco Design Center. We had a great time wandering around, searching for a new sofa for our living room (still have yet to find the one!) and grabbing a bite to eat. It's great having a grandma who knows the ropes of this business, because she has taught me so much along the way. One of the first things she taught me, probably when I was only 13 years old, was to always dress professionally and chic when on design outings-- or anywhere for that matter. You never know when you're going to run into a potential client :)
I'm not going to even apologize for the many fashion posts you'll see over the coming years with my Tory bag...ha! Are you tired of her yet? Cause I'm sure not! As Fall is rolling in, I'm loving the leopard and black combo. Well, I'm loving leopard with a lot of different looks, but especially black. The Asos dress was casual, but chic and comfortable to spend the day shopping around in. Surprisingly, my Sole Society shoes are my most comfortable pair of flats! I could shop for hours in them. What a fun day with a special grandma.
