My Thanksgiving Tablescape

I'm finally getting around to sharing my fall / Thanksgiving table with you! I'm not hosting Thanksgiving (I only have room for two, ha!) but if I was, this is how I would set it up with limited space to work with. As an apartment dweller, it can be tough to entertain (especially if you have a 36" table like me!) but it's not impossible. So here are my ideas coming to you in partnership with the Grand Rapids West Elm store. I had so much fun picking these items out to show you how I would set my table!

Add a pretty runner to dress it up. I love the boarder on this one. Layer plates to create a bit of a more formal look. Adding a patterned plate on the top is a great way to make it more festive!

Finding unique candlesticks, vases, flatware, napkins, and glassware are all ways you can dress it up and make your table memorable. Because I have such a small, round table, I decided to gather the napkin, tie it with ribbon and place it at the top of the place setting or on top of the plate directly. This is a big space saver!

For the flowers, I just picked up a few loose blooms from the local flower shop. I found carnations (which usually aren't my favorite, but they really did look okay!), a few roses, alstroemeria, and a big hydrangea.

Mixing and matching your glassware is fun! I paired these pink goblets with my gold-rimmed highballs I found at Anthro a few years ago on sale.

On my buffet I just place a mercury glass pumpkin and hung a sweet, textured garland.

That does it!

Happy Thursday!

  2. so sweet, I might have to make a West Elm run tonight. Random question, did you just replace your apt light fixture? I keep thinking about doing that!
