It's Thursday already and guess what I'm doing?? I started work at 6am to change out the summer line to the fall line. Wowza! I feel a big nap coming later today.
I wanted to show you {way too many} pictures from our 4th of July.
First, we went to the Giants game. Although we lost, it was still super fun (:
After the game, we started walking down the Embarcadero along the piers in order to get a spot for fireworks later in the evening. It was such a beautiful, clear day out.

Look at this beautiful brick I found:
While my brother held our lawn seat for fireworks, we went on a hike up to the Coit Tower. My mom kept making jokes about how I wouldn't make it on the hike. How silly of her-- I love exercising...{not} When I saw what we were hiking up I started laughing because I really didn't know how this would go. But folks...the entire hike was stairs and I did it!
We started up this set of stairs:
This was by far my favorite part of the day, with all the little cottages and houses tucked in the canopies of trees along the stair path.
They even have street signs along the stair path up to the tower!
Favorite:
We conquered these:
I'm a sucker for old fire hydrants:
Once we got to the top of the tower, the sun was setting and it was SO gorgeous.
Here's proof I made it to the top!
Then we watched fireworks and headed back on our walk to the car. We snapped this picture of the Bay Bridge on our way back. Amazing, right?

We had the best day! And we made sure to sing God Bless America multiple times throughout the day (:
And that concludes my photo overload! If you're ever in San Francisco, you must do the Coit Tower hike. It's stunning.
Happy Thursday!
Love,
those stairs look challenging, but amazing at the same time! i would love to be able to walk that!

Those houses are TOO cool. So they dont have real streets? The only access is by the stairs? Awesome!!
