Paint Color for my Bathroom

If you follow me on Instagram, you saw this picture yesterday. I'm currently in the middle of picking a paint color for my bathroom. The new landlords here said we're allowed to paint, so that's all the push I needed to head to the paint store. I will (hopefully) be painting my bedroom and bathroom the same color. I'm choosing between two Benjamin Moore colors: Stonington Gray and Wickham Gray. Most people voted for the top one, Stonington Gray, and I do really do love it!

Here are some shots of both of the colors in rooms, so you can get a better idea of the colors:

Wickham Gray-- definitely has a hint of blue/green to it.

Stonington Gray-- more of a true gray color.

Besides the gorgeous color...can we talk about the lighting and the reclaimed wood?!

Now, we have to keep in mind that I don't have any natural light in the bathroom, so I'm just crossing my fingers that there will be just enough contrast without making the room look dark.

Which is your favorite?!

  1. I actually really like the wickham grey... but I'm almost always the weirdo who likes the other one!

  2. Usually I like darker grays, but because you don't have natural light in your bathroom I'd say you should go with Wickham. Whichever you choose will look great, though!

  3. Wickham Gray. It's a bit more feminine I think

  5. I love the Wickham! I also have a bathroom with no light, and I think that would be my pick, but either one are good choices in my opinion.

  7. Hi Michaela, When you don't have natural light in the bathroom, I would suggest using day light bulbs compared to soft white and with higher lumens. I used 2 LED bulbs in DAY LIGHT each at 1600 lumens and the tiny half bath feels like it has open ceiling. The paint colors look more real in this light too.
