November Thankful Challenge

Even though we're on day 3 of November, it's never too late to start something new. I was thinking yesterday about how I used to write more personal posts back when I was in college, and one of my favorite types of posts to write were my 1000 Gifts Challenge, where I listed a few things in each post that I was thankful for. The goal was to write down 1000 things I was grateful for, so along the journey of doing that, I shared a few on the blog. Click here to take a peek back in the embarrassing archives.

Well, fast forward a few years and I stopped my thankful list once I got to 1000 (which is silly, really!) But it's November, a month to be reminded of the blessings in our lives. I want to be conscious of the good gifts God has given me every day this month, and always, so I'm starting my own challenge to myself on Instagram (@michaelanoelledesigns). I'll be posting a photo of something (hopefully) everyday and will use the hashtag #mndthankful so I can go back and see all the blessings at the end of the month. Today is the first day of my challenge and if you're up for it, I'd love for you to join me! Use the hashtag so I can follow along with you.

If you're in need of a wonderful book that talks about gratitude, thanksgiving, joy in trials, and just a beautifully written book by one of my favorite authors, pick up One Thousand Gifts. It will be a HUGE blessing to you, I promise.

Alright, friends, who's with me? Happy November!
xoxo
