This stunning lake front home, set on the beautiful Lake Michigan, left me drooling and really wishing I lived in Michigan in the summer months. The grand stature and roof line of the home alone are totally amazing. I normally don't love the idea of each room in a house having the same color scheme, but it works here, doesn't it? Blue is rather appropriate for the location of the house and it is serene and cool when mixed with the dark wood, white trim, cabinets and built-ins. All of the coastal touches found in the stripes {obsessed}, wall art, swirls, blue china, moroccan tile work, and white plantation shutters had me at first glance. Who's coming with me to this pretty lake front home?!
What's your favorite element of the house?
Enjoy your weekend!
xoxo

ReplyDeleteBeautiful. Yes, summers on the lake in MIchigan are fantastic (Mark's mother lives on Lake Huron), but winters? not so much. Especially this year...it is still snowing!!
ReplyDeleteSummertime in Michigan is the absolute best! I think it's a little slice of heaven...and then comes winter.
ReplyDeleteI love American design.. It`s so much more bold and outgoing than Scandinavian..

ReplyDeleteWow, what a gorgeous home! There are so many beautiful spots along Lake Michigan with beautiful houses, but I really love the way this one is decorated--particularly the backsplash in the kitchen. Have great weekend girl! xoxo
