Our 2018 Christmas Tree

This is always such a fun post to share!! Our Christmas tree is up, the halls have been decked and I'm so excited to share it. This year I wanted to switch things up a little and instead of wrapping ribbon around our tree, I decided to cut little ribbons and tie them onto random branches all over the tree. You can't see them super well in pictures, but in person it's really charming! Our Christmas tree topper is also really cute in person, but kind of disappears in these pictures...promise it's there though! ;) It's metal, so it blends into the wall color. Ha!
Without further adieu, our 2018 Christmas tree:

Do you spot a certain doodle above? ;)

There are the little ribbons I knotted on the tree. I love the vintage market vibe:

This tree has quite a few spots where we needed to hang some longer ornaments, so I did have to go out and buy a few more than what we already had. I found these pinecones and loved them!

One of my favorite ornaments my friend Ashley got me last year :)

Another favorite I picked up on last year's trip to Magnolia Market!

I got a couple presents wrapped for tonight's My Favorite Things Party! I will do a post on how to do one of these. This gold tree paper is SO cute!!

Simple greenery and roses sit on our coffee table. I love how the lights look behind it!

I also found some cute little jingle bells to top our gifts...just a fun touch!

I will always love our little red truck pillow :) The gingham pillows are from Hobby Lobby, of course 50% off!
Have you put your tree up yet? Do you do themes each year (my mom and I always did that-- for example, one year we'd do all colorful ball ornaments or all silver and gold...)
Hope you have a wonderful week!
xoxo

  1. Just beautiful! Our tree is up. I absolutely love unwrapping every ornament and remembering its story each year as we put it up -- so special.
