Be Mine

I cannot believe Valentine's Day is on Monday!  I'm not a huge decorator for the 14th, but I did do a few small things to spruce up the apartment.

Fresh flowers were a must! So far, I'm keeping up with my new years resolution to always have fresh flowers (:

What's that thing streaming in through the window, you ask? Yep, that'd be sun!
{To see my painted bottles tutorial, go here}

Fresh flowers in my favorite blue mason jar.  {Check out how I adorned the mason jar here.}

When I was little I collected Beanie Babies...so I have some for every holiday. I proudly display them, even if people think their childish, I heart them (:
Such a true moto, am I right?!
I framed this free printable from The Bonjour Family after I saw that Courtney used it from A Thoughtful Place.

Our other Beanie Baby is holding the fort down by our DVD's.  Her name is Kisses. Duh.

I just made this simple little piece of wall art by sticking some craft letters onto scrap booking paper and stamping a heart on the bottom:

And what kitchen counter would be complete without some homemade red velvet cupcakes with heart sprinkles?!

So there ya have it- our apartment all gussied up!

OH and if you missed yesterday's post about our Seattle Blogger Meet Up on March 5th, go here to read all about it and sign up!!

  6. Love the painted white bottles, I may have to try that out! I also may have to jump on the fresh flowers bandwagon, the hubby brought some home this week for our anniversary, and despite the nasty weather we have her in Texas, they have kept me in a bright and cheery mood.

I know I have a huge box of them somewhere at my parents house:-) What a crazy fad that was! I will definitely take one of those cupcakes, if only I was up north a little bit more! xoxo
