I just can't let something be until I know I'm really in love with it. I've been working on this one corner of my room for a while and have to say, I think I love it...finally. I'm excited to share it with you! The corner has no purpose other than a little storage space for craft boxes and magazines. Other than that, its job is to look pretty (: You may recognize my Lace Vase I shared on the blog last week.
My favorite design books and craft storage boxes are displayed in this little shelf I mosaic-tiled and painted myself. My great grandma's tea cup sits in there, too. One of my favorite things she left me!
When I saw this image in Sarah's etsy shop {from Fairy Tales are True}, I had a big idea. I wanted to gather as many architectural prints and images as I could to one day create a gallery wall of them. When we thought we were moving, I tucked the two prints I bought from Sarah away, but I couldn't wait any longer...and out it came. I love where it is now and adore the colors and patterns. Be sure to stop by Sarah's etsy shop and feast your eyes on all her amazing travel photos! She is sooo good (:
One day, that architectural print gallery wall idea will become reality.
Do you have a favorite corner of a space in one of your rooms?
Hope you had a great weekend. Can't wait to share pictures from my trip soon!

ReplyDeleteI love your idea of an architectural gallery wall - that print is so gorgeous! I have lots of little corners I love around my house (mostly because none of the rooms are finished so a corner seems good enough I think!). I just posted my finished entry though and I'm loving it so far.
