Happy Monday! This week while I'm taking final exams and packing, I've invited a few of my best blogging gals to share a little about their own style. We always adore learning about bloggers and why they love what they love, so hopefully this series will let you in on that...and hopefully you'll meet some new friends along the way :) Some posts will be about fashion and others will be about design. Today I have Sam from The Peak of Tres Chic here to share her adorable home. Sam is also in design school and I know if we lived close, we'd be great friends. Let's read about Sam's style...

Hi there! My name is Sam and I am the editor of The Peak of Tres Chic. I am SO delighted to be here today posting for Michaela. I adore her blog and am so inspired by her design skills, fashion sense, and DIY abilities. I can definitely learn a lot from her! One passion we do share is interior design. Today I wanted to share a vignette from my personal living room that I feel encompasses my aesthetic.

As you may have guessed from my blog name, I have an obsession with all things French. Namely, French furniture and details. I found this tufted wingback chair in an antique store and just had to have it. The shabby chic feel of the chair combined with the French design is right up my alley. I also love mirrored furniture, but when I was designing my living room I wanted to keep the overall feel somewhat relaxed. That's why when I spotted this console, I knew it was perfect! The wood combined with the mirrored doors creates a luxe look without being overly dramatic. I incorporated the Ralph Lauren coffee table book into this vignette because I believe the brand is classic, chic, and enduring, which I feel also describes my design aesthetic. I love to make a room feel personal, so adding in photos of my family and friends creates a warm, inviting vibe. I hope you like it!
Thank you for letting me share today, Michaela. I hope you will all stop by The Peak of Tres Chic soon and say, "Hi!"
***Thanks friend! Your chair is perfection!
Enjoy your day:)
