On My Desk No. 3

This week I've been so busy! It's always hard to get back into the swing of things after being home with my family for a weekend, but I managed.
- On my desk this week is my cute little DIY Fabric Scrap Journal.  I've been trying to make it a point to read my Bible and do my devotions most mornings.  It's so important for me to start the day out right. {I'm definitely not perfect at this, but giving it my best effort to stay consistent-- with help from my friend Nicole!}
- My lavender sharpie.  Who doesn't love sharpies?! {I sort of secretly like the smell of them too...should I be scared?!}  I use this pen to label my planner with big events.
- I've also been trying to read design magazines and tangible design books more, in an effort to get off the computer, stay up on design related goodness, and be practicing design vocabulary.  Making A House Your Home is one of my favorites {pictured above}.
- I just painted my nails with this dark purple Butter London color. Love!
- Those red chevron paper envelopes are from Paper Source. These will be a cute way to seal up my valentine cards for friends!
- Last but not least is my favorite sparkly hair pin from Anthropologie.  If I go with a relaxed ponytail look, I'll add this to jazz it up a bit. Instant glam :)

I'm excited it's the weekend, but a busy one it will be! Don't forget to enter the Heylee B giveaway from last Monday. What are you doing this weekend?
Happy Friday, friends!
xoxo

  10. Hey I know this is off topic but I was wondering if you knew of any widgets I
    could add to my blog that automatically tweet my newest twitter updates.
    I've been looking for a plug-in like this for quite some time and was hoping maybe you would have some experience with something like this. Please let me know if you run into anything. I truly enjoy reading your blog and I look forward to your new updates.
