I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and Mother's Day! I had a very productive weekend. It went a little something like this: enjoyed an amazing massage with my roommate for her birthday, went to Trader Joe's, did homework, worked on some posts for the week, watched the movie Amazing Grace {it was, ya know, pretty amazing(: }, reviewed some proofs for a new blog design {oops, I let it slip. It's true. And I'm excited!}, and tried a new carmel tea at The Teacup, which I am now craving.
I also began following an interior designer, Amy Meier, on twitter and ended up looking at her website and portfolio for a long time. I love learning about interior designers, hearing what they have to say, and how they got to where they are now.
Amy uses "her signature style, which blends old and new, transitions seamlessly in and out of doors, and is bound to delight. Slave to neither tradition nor trend, she draws from the best of all worlds to create rooms that are innately yours."
I love that- bound to delight. I hope one day, I delight all my clients with a space they feel is totally theirs. Here is some of Amy's amazing work...her portfolio is a Show Stopper:
You're in love, aren't you?! My favorite is how she uses classic pieces to blend just the right amount of contemporary and modern with a major dose of chic.
Hope you have a beautiful Monday!
Love and Delight,
Wow... These rooms are truly perfect. This is exactly my style. I love the kitchen in the first picture. The blue beams and the light fixtures. Its the perfect addition...
