Baylor Homecoming Parade
The fam, minus my mom who had to stay home with our puppy!
Can we talk about how cute and playful this great dane is?! Even he had BU pride.
My sweet blog friend Lauren and her daughter, who also goes to Baylor!
Bond fire the night before the big game. It was getting crazy big!
Kansas vs. Baylor... Go Bears!!
My long-time blog friend and pen pal, Lisa, was kind enough to pick me up from the airport in Austin. We went to lunch and talked about life...it was perfect and a long time coming! So thankful for her and our friendship :)What a fun weekend we had! I'm sort of sad I didn't go to school at Baylor after seeing the school and the spirit that comes along with it. Not to mention literally everyone in Texas was so kind and welcoming. Ah, home sweet Texas! My stomach is still recovering from all the BBQ and fried food, two Mexican meals in a row, and seriously good mac 'n cheese that comes as a side with any meal. I could never eat like that 24/7! Where are the organic/sustainable/ eco-friendly restaurants that California loves?!
Now back to real life: school, projects, sitting in Starbucks for countless hours and drafting until my neck is sore and hands are numb!
Not that I even need to mention it, but don't forget it's election day! I think it's so important to vote. I will be praying for the direction of our country today!
Happy Tuesday!
Love,

ReplyDeleteGreat recap! It's so fun to see the pretty pics of the BU...my hubs went there for a few years. :)
ReplyDeleteI graduated from Baylor in 2010 and was so surprised/excited to see this post! So glad you fell in love with Waco/Baylor and that you got to experience homecoming! I live in Rhode Island now so I couldn't go this year... so I am rather jealous... :)
ReplyDeleteHi Michaela! Stopping by to say hi, from Lauren's blog. Glad you had such a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteLove reading your blog!! Looks like you had a good time. I live & work in Cali but I also have an office (work) in Waco, Texas so I'm very familiar with the area. If you ever go back, you have to check out the SPICE VILLAGE little shopping area near downtown Waco. So many cute and fun shops. So worth it!!
ReplyDeleteAwww, yay Baylor! My parents are both alumni (and my brother went there for a while). I remember visiting the campus as a little girl. I loved the bears on campus. They fed them Oreos and Dr. Pepper. Lol. Go figure.
ReplyDeleteLoved these pics. You are ridiculously adorable.
