The Bloom Workshop: Northern California

I can't believe our first La Petite Bloom Workshop is next week here in Michigan-- just one week away! We are so excited. I also can hardly believe our first large workshop is coming up in 5 weeks in California. Hooray! I can't wait to go home and soak up some sun :)

Today, Ashley and I are sharing our California sponsors, artists and partners with you. It truly does take a village to put together our workshops, so we are so grateful to have such talented friends partnering with us.

Sawyer Leigh Boutique: Megan is the talented owner of this cute shop. She designs adorable wood signs. We're so excited to put one of these inspiring desk signs in each swag bag!

Parris Chic Boutique: One of my very favorite home decor shops (the owner, Alyssa, is one of my favorite people ever, too!) is giving each attendee a lovely mug to drink their coffee from during the workshop. Then they get to take it home and enjoy many more sips!

Pieces by Violet: The second I laid eyes on this vintage rental company, I was completely smitten. The prettiest tables, rustic chairs, fun and unique accent pieces and more! I can't wait to show you what we have in store for our styled photo shoot at the end of the day, using lots of beautiful Pieces by Violet.

Lily & Val: Each guest will get a fun greeting card tucked in their swag bag from the talented artist, Valerie, behind Lily & Val. I've bought many cards for family and friends over the years from this sweet shop!

Paper Please: As one of our favorite stationary, greeting card resources, and other branding element shops, we just adore Paper Please. We're thrilled to have Heather as a part of our California workshop swag bag!

Sweet Tooth Confections: What is a styled photo shoot without a gorgeous cake?! Rachael, the owner and designer behind Sweet Tooth Confections, is an amazingly talented baker and cake decorator. We can't wait to see what she dreams up for our styled inspiration shoot!

Camille Monique Beauty: This talented make up and hair artist is so truly gifted. I've known her for almost half of my life, and I've been lucky enough to have her do my makeup for my own website photo shoot. I cannot wait to have her doing hair and makeup for Bloom's styled photo shoot in April! She brings out everyone's natural beauty.

Natalie Bowen Designs: One of my favorite florists of all time is doing the flowers for our styled inspiration shoot at the workshop! Pinch me! Natalie's arrangements are whimsical, modern and so artfully put together, I can't help but squeal when I see one. We are over the moon excited!

In 2010 I moved to Kansas to pursue my education in fine art photography. {I know, I’m crazy} Now I’m in Kansas City working as a wedding photographer! Bloom Workshop: Atlanta Sponsors

I'm excited to be sharing so many talented ladies with you, especially because we will be working together on Bloom Atlanta with each of them! Bloom is coming to Georgia on October 23rd at Vinewood Plantation, and we have the.best.lineup. for the day! Read on to learn about some of the gals we're teaming up with to make our workshop happen:

1. Lindsay Coletta: Her bouquets, centerpieces and unique vision leave us drooling, so we couldn't be more thrilled to have her as one of Bloom Atlanta's sponsors! We can't wait to see the gorgeousness she adds to the day (we admit, flowers are pretty much our favorite!) and we know all the attendees will die over the beauty they get to photograph!

2. Blooming Flour Bakery: We can't wait to see what Blooming Flour Bakery comes up with as they partner with us to create a one of a kind wedding cake for our styled shoot portion this fall in Atlanta! We are drooling as we look through their gallery of creations and can't wait to partner with them! They MAY even throw in some sweets for our attendees (but who are we kidding, we are going to be eating the cake after the shoot!)

3. Laura Hooper Calligraphy:  We continually gush over the amazing work of Laura Hooper Calligraphy! Laura creates the most dreamy, romantic and inspiring calligraphy and hand lettering. We adore her work and are thrilled she is creating a custom invitation suite and some signage for our styled portion of the day! We can't wait!

4. Paperlark Studio: We're so excited to have Paperlark Studio apart of Bloom Atlanta! Sweet Miranda is creating one of a kind custom tote bags for all the other wonderful goodies to go in. We are very excited about the design, and can't wait to hand these beauties out to each attendee!

5. Southern Vintage: Southern Vintage has an amazing selection of vintage furniture, tableware and decor. We can't wait to style our tablescape with beautiful globlets, glassware, plates and candlesticks! You may even see a piece or two of their to-die-for-furniture! I am personally pumped about having them. I think our styled shoot is going to be extra lovely this time!

We also wanted to mention a few of our favorite ladies, joining us for the question and answer portion of the workshop: My girl Michelle of Ten June (can't wait to see her again after almost three years!), Kristin of The Hunted Interior, and Shauna of Shauna Veasey Photography.

Head over to Ashley's blog to check out even more sponsors. Registration for our Georgia workshop opens TOMORROW at 8am Eastern Standard Time!

Happy Wednesday!

Client Reveal: Baby Boy Nursery & Giveaway

Nurseries are one of my favorite rooms to design, so I had a ball helping my boyfriend's sister design her baby boy's nursery. It's perfectly sweet and all boy at the same time. I love how this gallery wall turned out. It has a variety of art; prints with sayings, numbers, cute little whales and of course, an "E" for baby Eli.

I'm so obsessed with this modern and clean Land of Nod dresser. The shelves for added storage are great!  This lamp adds dimension and texture to the nursery.

And now for all the adorable prints in the gallery wall...

First up is this cutie from Golden Lace. Josie has some adorable prints in her shop!

My favorite navy print from Lindsay Letters and a framed card (I actually found this card for them at Target!)

One of my go-to prints from Minted for a nursery...

I just love this saying! The metal letter is from Anthropologie.

When we saw this simple striped crib skirt and bumper, we were in love! The adorable whale sheet is from Land of Nod (they have the BEST crib sheets!)

Okay, now the fun part! You can enter to win a print from Golden Lace's shop! There will be TWO winners, each winning the print of their choice :)

a Rafflecopter giveaway

Note: This giveaway will have two winners. Be sure to enter a valid email, as the winner will be notified via email. Giveaway ends 8/11/14. Good luck!

Happy Tuesday!

Friends of Bloom

Happy Monday! Hopefully you enjoyed your weekend. Mine was spent with my mom-- we got our nails done, our hair blown out at the Dry Bar, and then went to dinner with my whole family. It was so refreshing. I love being home for a visit!

TOMORROW registration opens for the next Bloom Workshop! Ashley and I are both really excited to find out who's coming and can't wait to meet each of the attendees on September 18th in Michigan. We wanted to take a moment to introduce you guys to a few of our sponsors this time around.
***

Graceline: One of our favorite ladies, Jenny, of Graceline Illustration & Calligraphy will be doing the gorgeous invitation suite and signage for our styled photo shoot portion of the workshop. This is where you get to put to practice everything you learned in the morning session of the day, by practicing to style and photograph a beautiful wedding inspiration shoot. Jenny's calligraphy is unparalleled, and we're blessed to have her apart of our day.

The Way We Are: Someone pinch us! Each guest at Bloom will walk away with a pretty, colorful and handmade piece of jewelry from our sweet friend Leah's shop, The Way We Are! You may know her from Instagram. She's a total girl crush for me ;)

Paper Sushi: Specializing in THE cutest stamps around, Paper Sushi is partnering with us for our September workshop and we couldn't be more thrilled! From custom address stamps, wedding invitation stamps, and stamps with sweet sayings, Jen has all of your needs covered. For a paper-obsessed girl like me, this shop is the jackpot! Each attendee is going to love the little goodie Jen throws in their swag bag.

This Loves That: This talented and creative shop owner, Katie, is donating something pretty to each swag bag. I can't tell you what…but you're going to love it! Her bold clutches and fun baubles are definitely statement pieces for your wardrobe.

Bash Events: Offering event design services both for weddings and corporate events in San Diego, as well as the yummiest smelling candles around, Bash Event Design is back again to provide their signature candles for each guest at our next workshop!

How lucky are we to be partnering with some of the most creative and talented people out there?! Thank you, Lord! To meet more sponsors, head to Ashley's blog.

Enjoy your day, and don't forget to sign up for Bloom if you think it's a good fit for you. I'm happy to answer any questions you may have. Shoot me a message at hello (at) michaelanoelledesigns (dot) com

Registration opens tomorrow for the September 18th workshop!

Have a wonderful day!
