DIY Clothespin Bulletin Board

Last weekend I had photos taken of my newly finished bedroom. I'm hoping to submit them to other blogs and such, so I have to hold off showing the whole room on my bloggity.  Check my facebook page for secret sneak peaks over the next few days(:

Today I'm sharing one of my favorite DIY projects in my room.  It's a super easy and cute way to display pictures!

I took a picture frame and recovered the fabric I had on there last year to give it a new look.  I simply stapled the new gray and yellow paper around the backing of the frame:

Next I cut two pieces of twine, pulled them tight and stapled them behind as well:

Finally, I used these little clothespins to hold up a few pictures and a sweet note from my dad. When I want a change, I can just switch them out easily!

Speaking of sneak peaks...there's one!  My little clothespin bulletin board is hanging right next to my glossy magazine picture canvas over my bed. Lots of inspiration over me while I sleep (: I love the paper I found at Meadow Boutique, as the specs of yellow totally compliment and ramp up the purple that the room is already covered in. {purple+yellow=complimentary colors} Fun fact(:

Have you done any DIY's lately??

Have a wonderful Thursday!
Love,
