Breakfast Nook Update: Wall Art

EAT- It's pretty appropriate for what goes on in our breakfast nook, dontcha think?! A few months ago we started to update this little area of the kitchen, and I'm quite pleased with the results. The best decision we ever made was to paint over our beloved country hens and chickens on the wall with the mirror-- and no, I will not show you any pictures of that. Bad phase! ;)
Anyways, we picked up these adorable hand painted letters at Anthropologie, because we knew the color was exactly what we were looking for.  The word fills out the wall nicely and offers some needed color in the space. When I began nailing them up the other day, the shock of the century happened when my brother {who, mind you, didn't even know I had a blog until recently. Not sure how he missed this...} offered to help me hang them. He's the most handsome math nerd in the world, and knew right away how to calculate the amount of space between each letter. Life saver!

Just so you can see how this little nook has evolved, a good ole "before and progress" photo is here for your enjoyment:

I know guys, the before was bad. But check out that progress! Totally loving it. And now...well, now it's almost all finished!

EAT Letters: Anthropologie; Mirror: West Elm (sale!); Chandelier: Pottery Barn (sold out, but this is similar)

What do you think...big improvement? What updates have you made in your home recently?

Happy Tuesday!
