The Short List No.14

Happy June! You know this summer girl is happy the warm weather is here for a few months :) I thought we'd do a fun post today since I've been very MIA on my blog recently!

What's New: I haven't written one of these posts in nearly a year, so probably a lot is new ;) Here are a few things: today is my husband's birthday (yay!), I made a trip to California for July to visit my family, my garden is growing, I just baked my first cinnamon raisin sourdough loaf (YUM!), and I started to see a counselor in January (life changing!).

What I'm Listening To: aside from some fun podcasts, I've been loving Carrie Underwood's new album, Chris Renzema, and Maverick City Music for worship music!

What I'm Reading: I recently finished Shipped and it was such a cute rom-com! I am currently reading Ann Voskamp's newest book, Waymaker, and it has been really amazing, insightful and has had a lot of truth about seasons of waiting, which I need!

Currently Loving:

1. I got these white sneakers at the beginning of the summer and they have proven to be a worthy investment. I reach for them all the time, as they're so cute with everything from shorts, dresses and jeans! They're also super comfortable.

2. This face mask makes my "greatest of all time" list. With a unique blend of chemical and physical exfoliants, like AHA glycolic acid and bamboo particles, it is designed to exfoliate your skin and give you that glow! Plus, hydration-boosting saccharide isomerate soothes skin for an ultra-soft complexion. Trust me, add to cart, ladies!

3. SUMMER. I love being outside, taking the dog for walks, watering my flowers and watching them grow. We've had multiple fires, complete with smores, and it's just so glorious!

4. I try to limit dairy from my diet, so I have been very excited about my new favorite dairy-free ice cream find. It's local to Grand Rapids-- even better! They ship nationwide. My favorites are the vegan strawberry and coconut chip! I literally dream about this ice cream.

5. All these pretty dresses (30% off today only). I am SO thankful that the midi dress, more modest style is still in and trending, because I am just not on board with the crop-top, short-shorts look!

What's on my Desk:

A couple projects are wrapping up that I'm excited to share more of soon, and a few are just starting (that bathroom is being completely redone and we're choosing fabric for custom upholstered chairs for another living room project!)

What I've been Cooking: pretty much anything Half Baked Harvest!! A couple recipes I've loved lately and am adding to our regular rotation are this creamy parm tortellini and this pesto peach chicken. With a side of sourdough, of course ;)

That's it for today! I hope you have a great week. I'd love to hear some of your answers to these prompts!
