Sometimes I spend countless hours on a designer's website, getting lost in their work and inspired by new elements in their interiors. That's precisely what happens each and every time I happen upon Sarah Richardson's website/portfolio. I could live in each of the homes she's designed, which is why she is one of my most favorite designers. She mixes pattern fabulously, chooses the perfect materials, and has a spot-on-eye for furniture placement.
The above is a beautiful residence that was photographed for Country Living. The darker gray/blue cabinets, contrasted with white upper cabinets, is still so, so perfect. The dove gray sofa, wood ceiling, occasional chairs placed on either side of the windows...it's all so lovely. What is your favorite part?
Who wants to move in with me? :)
Enjoy your Wednesday!
xoxo
I love the simplicity and elegance. I wish I could keep my house that way. lol ;)
ReplyDeleteLove it. So clean and simply elegant without being too stuffy! Does that make sense?

ReplyDeleteSarah Richardson is my ALL TIME favorite designer too! Her work is brilliant and so inspiring. Not surprised that this is another thing we have in common :) xo
ReplyDeleteI also LOVE Sara Richardson I do spend hours on her website. She is brilliant. I am currently trying to re-create some of her ideas in a kitchen she did for her series Sara's house - it is the split back which is very similar to my home. I watch/record every show she has. I love her ideas. Victoria
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely stunning, dream home is an understatement!
ReplyDeleteReally pretty! I felt a sense of calm come over me as I looked at the photos. The neutrals and simplicity is beautiful. Love that chandelier!
ReplyDeleteAlthough her style is a little more country than I typically use personally, I think she is a kitchen genius. Every time I see one of her kitchens I feel like it couldn't be more perfect. So gorgeous! xx
