We're taking things outside today for a view of our front porch. We picked up these colorful and textured pumpkins at the pumpkin patch a few weeks ago, and they are my favorite ever. I mean, the color of the two orange ones is striking!
To accent those, we did an orange plant potted in my DIY gold leaf pot and hung a welcome sign to top it off. Simple, sweet and on the cheap. That's our kind of front porch!
I think we decided against carving pumpkins this year. Is that bad?! Do you carve pumpkins or leave them like ours?
Have a wonderful Tuesday!
xoxo
Michaela, been meaning to tell you an official congrats on the new site! It looks amazing!!

That gray pumpkin is so cool–I love what you did with the front porch!
ReplyDeleteIt looks so warm and inviting...love the gray pumpkin and the way you gold dipped the pot!! Happy to be your newest follower!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I love all of the little touches, and the wooden bench!
ReplyDeletePretty! I really like that darker orange pumpkin.
ReplyDeleteWe carve our pumpkins a couple of days before Halloween. Regardless of if we carved or left uncarved, putting out pumpkins is feeding the squirrels in our neighborhood. We learned the hard way when we moved in, with eaten uncarved pumpkins, and had to buy new ones since we had a crying little boy who was sad about his eaten pumpkin.
Did my last comment not post?! Wah! I said something super smart and fabulous about how adorable your outdoor fall scene was... ha ha. But seriously, love that pretty gray Cinderella pumpkin!
ReplyDeleteI did the same thing with the terra cotta pots and am loving the way they look with my fall pumpkins. I think I'm skipping the carving this year as well. I'm all about the paint.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty. We carved last year despite the girls not being home. Not going there this year! LOL
ReplyDeleteI was thinking the same thing for this year. No carving for me... I think they last longer this way anyway :)
ReplyDeleteSo cute Michaela! I of course love your pots and love all of the different sized pumpkins. :)
ReplyDeleteI love your orange and white pumpkin mixture. Wonderful. :) everything looks so warm and inviting.
ReplyDeleteYour porch looks great Michaela! Love the mixture of pumpkins. We do the same as you and leave them uncarved.
ReplyDeleteI love your porch and yesterdays post too, you always decorate so beautifully!

Were not carving pumpkins this year either, it's not bad! Actually I'm looking forward to no mess to clean up.
