La Petite Bloom Workshop Recap | Ada, Michigan

Last week was our La Petite Bloom Workshop. Ashley and I created these half-day, hands-on workshops for the gals who want to spend the day being creative, learning new skills or refining familiar ones, and networking with other like-minded ladies. This time we welcomed Molly Jacques and Spring Sweet, talented and well-known calligrapher and floral designer, respectively. The day was hosted at Bieker Farms, a truly gorgeous wedding venue here in Ada, Michigan!

Here are some photos of our day:

What's a workshop without donuts and champagne?!

First, our 40 attendees learned about calligraphy from Molly! When I first tried calligraphy, I was just plain terrible at it. Now I'm getting more comfortable with more practice. It's actually really relaxing to do, so sometimes I stay up at night practicing some lettering. Nerd alert ;)

Nest, the gals got to help themselves to our flower bar after learning the basics from Spring. These gorgeous linens are from Mrs. Freund & Co.

I love these ladies!!

After Ashley and I teach on photography and design, Ashley takes photos of everyone's flower arrangements and does pretty head shots for the guests as well. This is one of my favorite parts of the workshop, because it's so fun to see everyone's personality come out in the way they style their bouquets.

Among our attendees were Tifani Lyn Photography:
