There She Goes...

There she goes again...

Back to Seattle I go! One of my best friends and I are road tripping it back to Washington in my new little Elantra.
14 hours, 5 suitcases, loads of decorations, about 12 pairs of shoes, 4 tanks of gas, and a whole lot of girl talk later....and we'll be there.
The move back to school each year is bittersweet.  I can't tell you how hard it is to leave home... it's the place I grew up, surrounded by my favorite people.  However, I do get a little excited each year about designing where I'll be living for the next 8 months!  I have some big plans for my room...can't wait to share.

The last few days I've been busy packing, cleaning, getting my nails ready for the trip, and I even squeezed in a DIY project I'll be sharing with you shortly.  It's somewhere in the midst of the mess of my room...

Since I'm busy road tripping back to school, I thought I'd share this little video Megan {Mackey Madness} and I made on our trip together.  I think you'll find it funny.
It's West Coast vs. {Southern!} East Coast time, friends!

So...what team are you on? West or East Coast?

And have you ever been on a road trip?? I'm excited to share our trip soon!
Love,

  6. Ha! Love it! Go East (well, Southeast). I have to laugh though because even though I'm a Georgia girl...Megan sounds REALLY southern! Must be that little bit of cajun.

  12. This is a tough one because I grew up in the Caribbean so our closest US port of call was Florida and I spent a lot of time there...but now I live in Vancouver which is west coast and we say things more like you, Michaela, so it's tough! I have heard both, but probably nowadays lean more towards west coast!

  13. West Coast is winning up in here...but have no fear Megan!!!! Ya'll know who I am rootin' for!!!! Texas gal here....but I cannot say East Coast....because we are definitely an accent of the Third Coast. Entirely different.

  18. Haha! I love that Southern accent. I have a lot of family from the south. :) Living in CA for so long, I tend to lean towards Michaela's way of pronunciation, but since I was born in Canada and raised on the very East coast, I have some of that too. Jack of all trades :) Have a good trip and fun times! :)

  20. Hi Michaela, love the video. And I know the feeling of moving away from home and back to school. It isn't too much fun :( Quick question maybe you will have time to answer when you are all moved in. But I want to know how you manage school work and your blog. My blog doesn't do so well because I always tend to forget about it well I am at school. Do you have a method or schedule that you follow that allows you to stay on top of things? If you do please share!?

    Thanks Kendra,
